Our Cozy Home Tour Numero Tres!

Have I mentioned how shameless I've become? Every time we go somewhere now, my daughters asks me if I'm taking our camera. I can't help it, I see something beautiful and I want to share it with all my blogging buddies out there.

So here in Utah the 24th is a Holiday. I have an Aunt with a swimming pool, so me and the family packed up our towels and sunscreen and went swimming. Well my Aunt is also an incredible decorator, so here are some pictures of her beautiful home.

This is a centerpiece for her dining room table that she made. I feel bad, this picture does not do it justice.

I love these plates and I REALLY love the bead board.

I wish I had a before picture of this chandelier. It was pretty before, but it looks totally different now. She painted it and made these cute little shades.

Yep, you guessed it. She made these drapes, aren't they incredible? Actually I'm not sure if she made them or my mom.

A close up, I really like the three coordinating fabrics that she used.

So this dining room said, she said she bought at K-mart for way cheap. She made these cute little covers to go over the chairs.

You can never have to many pretty clocks!!!

Now for a sad, sad story. Me and the hubby were given tickets to go see the Osmond's with the Tabernacle Choir on Friday. Well, guess who go sick. Soooooo, my hubby took our seven year old daughter. It's been on TV a couple of times and it was so good, I love how close their family is. When I was in college, Tom, one of the older brothers who is deaf was our mail man. He was so sweet he even taught me and all my roommates the alphabet in sign language. So, theres my claim to fame.

I love that plate rack! I love love the curatins. She definately has a eye for fabrics. I love the toille! Again-have you done a home tour of your own house? You should, or if you have please tell me where to find it. I would like to see your OWN home!! I am sure that you sell yourself short with the decorating. If you really want me to come to your house, I so would. Not that far for us to travel. Tell your friends. I need to work more now that I feel better.

I always think it's crazy to see Tom Osmond on TV after he was our mailman. I've learned tons of sign language since his classes.

Hah! Ryan always seems to run into him when he goes on trips to Ephram.
Your family is talented. I need to find me some cute fabric for curtains. I just can't quite figure out what I want.

You are not alone! My husband looks at me crazy like when I walk around with the camera. Inspiration comes from all around us and you don't want to miss it! Your family sure is talented.

Great pictures...sorry about the concert, and it's perfectly normal to take your camera everywhere...I think I need a chain for my neck...cause I can never find mine when someone's doing something I should share...

I am sorry you didn't get to go. I have watched it a couple of times on tv. It truely was - for me anyway--- an amazing experience. I had never been to the conference center before....

If I knew your aunt's address I think I'd have to break in and steal those plates...I LOVE them!

I also love the chandelier. There was an old 70's one in the basement room our house when we moved here, and I think I might be able to "fix it up" to look like that. Thanks for the idea!

I'm so sorry you got sick...I've been sick for a week and this is the first day I finally feel good. So, today is "rescue the house" day.

Hey, the pictures look great, you could take them of her entire house, she is such a good decorator. You need to show her living room and finish work details. I watched the Osmond thing too, it was great I bet the father/daughter had fun.

What great use of color and texture she used. I didn't see the three different fabrics in the curtains until the closeup. You sure do have a family loaded with creative people.

Thanks for stopping by. All of these post of your family's homes recently have made me want to redecorate!! I noticed the Willow Tree figurine on the table. I love those. I read your comment to Little Ann and she was grinning from ear to ear...but now asking to take cake decorating classes. ha.

I love her decotating style. I'm all about that beadboard she has up as well.

My claim to fame is My brother David built Donny's pools Donny calls my brother Davy now. Plus the Donny Osmond family are good friends of my family. Donny & his wife came to my Aunt Marva's funeral a couple years ago in Orem. They are neighbors.

Anyway. Did you get my email about blog help? I did send one to you.
