Our Cozy Nests 1st Home Tour

This weekend we went to a Family Reunion in Logan Utah. My Brother and Sister n' law that live there planned it and we had so much fun. There was hiking, swimming, camping, tubing down the river, a ropes course, eating, chatting, roasting marsmallows, you name it. My kids were in la la land, and were not happy at all about coming home.

My favorite part was taking pictures. My brother and sister n' law have an amazing home, that they pretty much designed. My sister n' law is also an amazing decorator. She can seriously do just about anything, so me well, I was in la la land taking pictures. My SIL was kind enough to let me pretty much go crazy taking pictures of her home.

Sooooooooooo, Let the tour begin.........

This is their entrance way, I love the stair case and all the pictures that line the walls. I'm really ticked at myself for not getting a picture of the outside of their home because it's beautiful.

Did I mention that my SIL is incredibly talented and can do anything? These are the Stained Glass Windows that she did.

Here are the stained glass windows that she did for the cabinet doors in her kitchen.

The incredible chandelier that she made for her dining room.

She painted these cute little flowers on the walls in her daughters bedroom, they look so cute.

I thought this was the coolest idea. She made some wood frames and covered them with this cool tapestry fabric. I wish the picture was better, if you click on it you can see it a little better. These are in her entrance way on the the high walls.

I love this shelf she has over her sink that holds those awesome pottery bowls. She didn't make the bowls, but I bet she could if she wanted to.

I have always LOVED this wall quilt she made. I think it goes so great with the color of the walls.

I just wanted to prove that I did take pictures from the actual reunion!!! We had so much fun!

Come back tomorrow for some pictures of her incredible Window Treatments.

Those stain glass windows are cool. How the heck did she do them?
I really love all the pictures on the staircase--I tried to do tham and failed miserably. I need more pictures, oh--and bigger walls. Or more of them. I'll take either.
Sounds like it was a beyond-fun reunion, and I think it needs to be capped off with an awesome deal on a chair I've heard about. :)

I ran across your blog. I'm another Utah Mama. You have great ideas! I am going to start blogging and wondered if you designed your own blog or had it done for you? Any tips?
