Our Family Trip to Nevada!

It started out great, the kids slept (for about 1 out of the 7 hours of the drive).

The next day they took us out to eat and the kids had a great time in their mini bowling alley.

And the little guy got some driving practice!

They let us play on their Wii fit. I know this is a bad picture, and that's exactly how I like it.

They took us swimming at their community pool.

My very white Utah legs, and I'm not telling ya which are mine.

Monday we went and visited Hoover Dam. My husband being a Civil Engineer REALLY wanted to go here.

The MASSIVE bridge that they are building.

The family!!!

Who knew they had my FAVORITE Ice Cream in Las Vegas. I shouldn't even call it ice cream because it's soooooooooo much better. Nelson's Frozen Custard......heaven!!! And to make things even better we went to Cafe Rio before this!
My Sister and Brother n' law's beautiful triplets!l

My beautiful kids (carried in my belly one at a time, thank goodness).

My daughter wanted me to get a picture of the palm trees in St. George.

The clouds on the way home. I love when it's raining and thundering outside, and we are safe and sound all together in our home or car!

We had such a wonderful time. Thank you Linda and Jason for spoiling us with your incredible cooking and fun activities.

I'm one lucky lady!!!

I hope all you moms out there had a wonderful Mothers Day. I've been hooked to a blog lately called The Simmons Family. Every time I read it I want to go and snuggle up to my kids and never let them go. The Simmons have a son born with a major heart defect. I think this particular blog touches my heart so much because their little boy to me looks a lot like my little two year old. Anyways, every time I read it and particularly on Mothers Day it makes me realize how blessed I am. I have three wonderful healthy children, a baby on the way and one incredible husband. I am truly blessed.
My little five year old made this for me in preschool. He was so excited to give it to me. He is just like his mother and can't keep a secret, I think he told me about it the day he started making it.

My husband bought me these super yummy chocolates from a new candy store near where we live. They were soooooooo good, he got my favorites, pinoche and Carmel's. What a smart man!

This little guy was a sweetheart and feel asleep during Church, what better mothers day gift could I have asked for. He even stayed asleep until we got him home to take a real nap!

Saturday I finally caved in and did some yard work. I wish I could say I enjoyed yard work, but I really don't. I do enjoy the end results and the feeling of accomplishment you get looking at a nice yard. Here are the kids and my niece and nephew enjoying their lunch. Root beer, hot dogs and Cheetos, yes we are soooooo healthy!

Well here is the yard after a long day of work. The kids got way dirty and me and the husband got a lot accomplished. The deck and fence desperately needs to be painted.

Here are some of my favorite things in my yard. I love these tulips with the pointed petals.

My all time favorite, yellow tulips.

Not a great picture, but I love how the bottom of this tulip is white.

Bleeding hearts, they are so cool!

Hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day!

These are the houses in my neighborhood!

Sorry for the lack of blogging, wait I say that every post! It's been one of those week, 2nd grade programs, strep throat, stitches oh....... and even some sewing! I did a good walk in today with my friend Julie and decided to show off some of the beautiful houses in my neighborhood. Ok, really they are like 4 or 5 blocks of way, is that still considered my neighborhood?

I really wish I knew the history of some of these houses, I'm sure it would be very interesting!

This house is my absolute favorite. Back in December I was able to go on a home tour of it, so click here if you want to see some pictures of the inside.

The outside is just as beautiful as the inside!

It was hard to get good pictures because of all the bushes, I wasn't able to get a picture of the awesome looking barn, someday I'll be gutsy and ask if I can walk around (inside the fenced yard) and take some pictures.

This house is also darling. I'd be watching for it to sell, if I ever thought I could fit my almost family of six into it!

The owners of this house have done a ton of work to it! I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's all done. I did hear that during the whole remodeling process, they found letters under the wall paper, could just be a rumor, but a cool story!

This house is cool, a little haunted looking, but still cool. I can't even imagine how much work and money it would take to keep up some of these historic houses!

And of course the cute home of Mimi Sue! She probobly wondered who that weirdo was taking a picture outside of her home this morning. Hope you don't mind Mimi!

Hope you enjoyed the tour!!!
