The cutest little girls room ever!!!

So I'm pretty much shameless. My husbands family probably thinks I'm a real whack job because I now carry a camera with me where ever I go, and I'm constantly asking my sweet sister n' laws if I can invade their homes and take pictures of it. I can't help myself, I seriously have the most talented sister n' laws in the world. They all have the best taste. Lucky for me my husband comes from a family of 9 children, so I have a lot of beautiful homes to tour.

Friday my niece had a bridal shower at her parents home, so me being the weirdo I am asked to take pictures of their home. You are going to love it. Today I'm going to show some of their kids bedrooms. They have 6 kids and are seriously the best parents. I wish I could be a fly on their wall for like a week and just observe their parenting.

This is their daughter's bedroom that I LOVE........

Don't you just love this quilt. Her daughter told me she didn't make it, but if she really wanted too she could have because she is an incredible seamstress.

I would love to do this in my little girls room, but I don't know if it would work with our textured walls.

My niece told me that her mom covered this lamp shade with fabric and then put the beaded ribbon on, isn't it cute.

These letters she painted and then traced them on scrapbook paper and then used Modge Modge to glue it on and give a finish coat, I love modge podge!

Downstairs they've done the same thing in their sons room.

This is their two youngest sons room. I really like this shelf that runs the entire length of the wall. It's a fun place for them to display their model airplanes and cars, and hang their hats.

The thing I really like about their home is that while it's beautiful it's not over done, it is still very cozy and warm and inviting. Well there you have it. Come back tomorrow for the tour of their BEAUTIFUL kitchen. I'm not kidding it's gorgeous.

These really are fun rooms! I love the pink!
But don't count yourself out, Nicole...I am sure you could do a lot of these sorts of things, too! By the look of those beautiful cards, I would say you are more than creative!!!

I am so happy you stopped by and left a comment. Now I have you saved on my favorite sites so I can pop over and visit regularly! :)

I am also happy that I clicked on Felicia's link. We actually worked together about a hundred years ago! It's a small world.

Have a great day!

I like how they did the white below and the color on top. LOL the white wouldn't be so white at my house though. I have white woodwork elsewhere in my house that is nasty from hands. Hmmmm... I really need to paint that. LOL.

Can't wait til tomorrow I love looking at kitchens.

I really love that little girl's room. I love uncluttered children's rooms. Thanks for putting yourself out there & risk your family thinking your nuts to show your blog friends some pretty rooms. :) (I think it's worth it)

I love that quilt and what they did to the walls. If I didn't live in a 99 year old house and had smooth walls (you got to love what happens when houses settle)then I would strongly consider doing that. I will have to remember that for the next house.

Thanks for the tour. I love looking at other peoples homes!
As for where I shop to find my furniture, I'm not ashamed to admit that I cannot pass by a DI and I've shopped at most in Utah. It's just luck to find a good buy now and then---being there at the right one at the right time.

Oh how I love house tours!! Thank you. I just love how she did the wainscotting in the bedroom. I would do every wall in my house with that if I could! Heck, I'd do it in my car if they'd let me!

Thanks for the cute comment on my blog! I was looking through yours and I just had to tell ya-- I've made those twig family trees before! They make great Christmas gifts, my parents about died last year when they unwrapped it. Did you end up making one? I need to make one for myself now!
