Are you sick of that old brick fireplace?

Then paint it!!!

I love this fireplace. My aunt painted it and this had this mantle built for it.

This isn't the greatest picture, but I wanted to show her beautiful windows, and I love these blinds. I know there is a name for them, but right now I can't think of it for the life of me.

I love the molding around them!

I wish she had some before pictures of this chair (obviously not a blogger). She painted it and had is reupholstered. I just love it.

Don't ya just want to take a nap on that comfy looking couch?

This table used to have silver legs if I remember right, she painted them black. It looks beautiful!

I love this table, but I really love the picture above it. I wish you could see it better. It's her and her two gorgeous daughters. I named my daughter after one of them, she's one of my best friends.

Isn't this picture beautiful! Her daughter and hubby adopted a little boy from Haiti! If I remember right they got him on a Thursday and then that Sunday she had a baby boy. So over night she was the mom of a 1 1/2 year old and a new baby. Their children are beautiful.

I've tried too talk her out of this baby grand. She just won't budge, I don't get it.....

Hope you've enjoyed the tour! Tomorrow I will be finishing it up. And the next home tour will be mine (I'm giving in Tausha). I've been trying to fix my blog a little (Thank you so much Rachel, actually she's been fixing it up) Can you read this font color alright? I still need to fix my header, but were getting there.

Do you think I should paint my fireplace? I wanted to rip it out since we use it, lets see, NEVER! Well, since I can't afford to do much with my house right now maybe a coat of paint of the fireplace would help. Think on that one!

P.S. Not sure if you are talking about the actual windows, if so they are palladium windows.

I found your blog from a comment you left on my sister Sarah's blog (Nesting In Pleasant View). In our old house we actually had a stone fireplace that was an ugly gray color. I painted it a pretty cream color and it looked great. i actually love the look of painted brick. A quick and easy way to give a more updated look.
