Happy 13th Anniversary to my Best Friend Ever!

Our 2nd Date (I don't have a picture of the first.)  I think we were trying to wink!

2 1/2  years later, getting home from a 2 year LDS mission!

Our first home.  Good thing we were in love huh!

First trip to Disneyland, with our daughter and one on the way!

College Graduation!

Our Family!  Crazy what can happen in just 13 years!

I saw this on Nie Nie's blog and loved it...........

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.

Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.

Happy Anniversary!! I couldn't remember if it was you or Marie we shared an anniversary with. We are celebrating #12. We went out to eat last night then to do a little Christmas shopping.... we at Chick Fil A.... so romantic. Oh, and we ran into Travis' old girlfriend. Haha!

As always, I love the towel on your head. I'm glad you both ended up together. Those were the days....

Happy anniversary! I remember telling you all the "happy ending" stories of people I knew who waited for a missionary. <3 Like Heather said, "those were the days"

Who else is in the Sadie's picture with you guys?
