Meet Molly the Monkey

I saw her on Rachel B's blog Made with Love and Glue, and fell in love with her. I thought she would make the perfect Valentines present for my daughter.

I'm pretty happy with how she turned out except for the glue seeped through on her face, oh well! My husband said she was scary looking, I told him he was scary looking! Ya just don't say that to someone who's spent the last 2 days making a stinkin monkey! I thought I had trained him better than that :)!

I love her shoes! Maybe I should stick a cute little bow on them or something!

The best part about this monkey is that the pattern was free. You can find it HERE! If anyone is interested I have enough fabric left over to make another one. I thought I could put it all together into a kit and sell if for like $12.00 if anyone is interested!

Oh she turned out so cute!! I had some glue show through on Addison's Monkey as well. Hence the big pink bow I slapped on her. :) Love the fabric you used! SOOOOO CUTE!

Very cute! I love the fabric. She will love it! I bet you could sell it for a lot more than $12.00! If I had a little girl to buy for, I would buy it.

she is darling. I never ask my husbands opinion-on anything. Except when I know he will tell me how beautiful I am! :)
Besides-men don't have any taste anyway!!!

Darling!! Silly husband. Sillier wife for retorting back that he was scary looking. Hahaha. Gonna laugh about that for a bit.

I really like the monkey. I have never made a doll of any kind before, and the monkey inspired me to try to make one for each of my girls. Thanks for the inspiration!

DH's just don't appreciate all our hard work sometimes. Several years ago in Relief Society we made "Angels" out of 'primativ' brooms. I brought mine home and thought she was lookin' pretty cute until DH and the kids asked, "Why we made witches out of brooms"? Of all the nerve! Ok, it really did look like a witch LOL. DH just asked if I told the other sisters. He was the Bishop at the time, and I thought he would want to live.
