One CRAZY week!!!

Sorry for the lack of blogging or commenting or saying Thankyou for your sweet awards. It has been a crazy week, hopefully things are back to normal.

Thursday my four year old took a trip to the Emergency room, a breathing treatment and 75 dollars later we found out he has the croup. Later that day I had a doctors appointment and found out there was some sort of lump in my stomach that the doctor wanted me to get a ultrasound on. (My 7 year old daughter kept hoping it was a baby, a girl of course). Saturday morning my almost two year old took a trip to the emergency room. I was pretty sure it was the croup. We put him to bed about 10:00 and he sounded fine, and 1:00 in the morning he woke up coughing and could hardly breath. They gave him a breathing treatment and some medicine that he spits right out and makes gaging sounds for the next ten minutes. Monday I had my ultrasound, the technician could feel the lump but when she went to ultrasound it she couldn't find anything, the radiologist said it's most likely a fatty tumor. (Just what I need a little more fat in my body, especially belly area!) Then today I went in for my first colonoscopy. The good news is the colonoscopy came out good (no caner or anything) and hey, I probably lost 5 pounds. I love how doctors tell you they've found something in your stomach but not to worry until they know more. Yea Right, I immediately started thinking the worst!
Anyhow the boys are getting better, and I have some peace of mind! Luckily my mom and little sister have helped me out a ton watching the kids and driving me to the hospital!

I have been working on a project, I think it's pretty cute, but my husband says it's scary looking. I'm going to go finish it so I can post it tommorow and you all can tell me if it's cute or scary looking.

Here's a sneak peek.............

Wowee hun! You guys have had a hectic week, you're right!
Hoping the kiddos are on the mend, as well as you.
I have had a few colonoscopies done but can't stomach the traditional prep anymore so they have me fasting today, tomorrow with my colonoscopy on Thursday.
If you have any secrets on your prep and how you did it, let me know girly!
The good side...I might loose a few pounds in the next few days, too!!! ;)
Happy rest of the week chicadee~ Les

Yikes, that's a lot of medical stuff! I'm glad your lump isn't anything bad...I think I would smack someone if they told me I had a fatty tumor thingy! I'm sorry about the croup--my daughter gets it on occasion and it isn't fun.

NICOLE,
I JUST FOUND YOUR BLOG AND I LOVE IT. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR CHILD'S CROUP...THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN TO SEE YOUR CHILD ILL.
I KNOW IT MAY NOT SEEM LIKE IT NOW BUT WITH A BLINK OF AN EYE THEY ARE GROWN...MY ONLY DAUGHTER IS 32 AND MY ONLY SON IS 25. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEIR CHILDHOOD WENT.
I JUST HAD A COLONOSCOPY A MONTH AGO AND I DECIDED TO JUST MOVE MY WORK TABLE INTO THE BATHROOM AND DO BUSINESS WHILE DOING BUSINESS, YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN. LOL... BUT SPEED WALKING WHILE CLINCHING "MUSCLES" TAKES ON A WHOLE NEW MEANING...MY HUSBAND THOUGHT I MOVED THAT FAST ONLY WHEN A TORNADO WAS SPOTTED AND WE NEEDED TO GO TO THE STORM CELLAR....I SAID,"YOU'LL THINK TORNADO, IF YOU DON'T MOVE OUT OF MY WAY.....SOMETHINGS GONNA F-L-Y AND IT WON'T BE DUST."
ENOUGH OF THAT.......
I LOVE...LOVE THE LESSON ON MAKING THE ALPHABET LETTER THAT WAS IN THE HOME TOUR JAN. 13TH. AS A MATTER OF FACT MY GUEST ROOM AND MY KITCHEN ARE IN HER COLORS AND I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO BRING THE DRM AND THE LIVING ROOM INTO THOSE COLORS.....AND I LOVE...LOVE HER CURTAINS.
I LOVE THE DRESSER YOU REDONE AND YOUR KITCHEN...THAT WAS ALOT OF WORK.
I WILL PUT A LINK TO YOUR BLOG FROM MINE.
I AM A NEW BLOGGER BUT HAVE MET SOME AWESOME WOMEN.
I HOPE YOU WILL STOP BY MY HUMBLE BLOG.
BLESSINGS
debbie
