Lucky Me!!!

It was a great Halloween weekend! My kids got WAY to much candy. Honestly, I've probably ate more of it then they have. Yes, I will be going to Curves tonight!

For Halloween we went to my parents house for pizza and then the guys took the kiddos trick o' treating afterwards. I feel like the worst mom ever, I didn't even get any pictures of them in their Halloween costumes. This is the only picture I got of our Halloween festivities. I ran inside as soon as we got home and grabbed the camera before the kids woke up.

I signed up for an ornament swap. I think I came away from it very well. Here is the Christmas ornament that I made............

And look at the cute ones that I got in exchange. I wish this picture was better. They are two cute little crocheted angels. Mary Grace was also sweet enough to put in come cute Christmas fabric, some pretty ribbon and some Christmas present labels. Definitely a good swap!

Also, a couple weeks ago I won a giveaway over at 19 Butternut from Stacy . Look at all the fun stuff I received. I can't wait to have some quite time and sit down and look at that magazine. She even packed it all in that cool paper grass stuff, yes I will be keeping that too. I love the sparkly leaves and then cute little fall framed art that she did. And, as much as Martha Stewart drives me crazy, she does make some pretty ribbon.

Hope you all had a great weekend also!

Don't feel bad about missing the pictures, it just shows that you were enjoying your time with your family! The picture in the car is priceless though! I'm always a little nervous to do the swaps but you seemed to come out very well!

It is too bad you didn't get an official Halloween costume picture, but honestly I think yours is just the cutest Halloween picture I've seen!

You have the cutest blog and I am so glad I stopped by! :) I know how you feel about the candy in your house. I think I have to throw it away before I eat it all!

I need car seats built-in like yours, so handy. What kind of car do you have? I didn't get a picture of my kids either, at least not a good one.

Nicole,
I thought you just left me a recent comment about the chocolate and grass. I can't seem to find it. lol
Could you please answer my question just one more time....Two weddings and the many showers are seeming to be a bit much for this one house hold:)
I didn't mention in the last comment how precious your sweet angels look sleeping after their big day/night. They really are darling children.

Yes...The candy has got to go. Lucky for you winning stuff!

I LOVE what you did with the window below. And because of you I have picked a new rolling pin that had black handles. I have a huge on with red handles but now want to collect more...:)

Oh yes, Bryce's candy is my worst enemy right now. Or my hips and butts worst enemy! When he's at school I find myself sneaking a bit here and then!
I bet you were excited to get that neat box in the mail. It is all super cute.
The ornie you made was great! What a fun swap!
Happy day hun~ Les
