Ten Reasons I've been a slacker at Blogging!!!

1. I've been busy holding this little guy! Ok, so he's not that little anymore, today at the doctor's he weighed in at 171bs. Did I mention that this was only his 4 month visit.

2. I've been busy fighting Ashely furniture to let me return this couch, that apparently can't get water on it. So yes, that means no three year old falling asleep and sweating, no 8 year old girls sitting on it with long wet hair after taking a bath, no using a wet cloth to spot clean and definitely no drooling! Apparently this couch is for looking at only. But, I am happy to say after 5 months of fighting it, we will be getting a new couch next Friday, one that hopefully water wont ruin.

3. Planning some tutorials over at this place.

Here is a sneak peek at one!

4. Having a Birthday party for this cute little 3 year old!

It was so fun, it tuckered this guy right out.

5. Spent a day shopping or I guess I should say browsing at this store.

6. Trying to think of creative ways to fit my growing family into this little 1400 sq ft cozy nest of ours. It's definitely getting cozy.

7. Even though I'm really bad at making comments, I have been visiting all of your blogs also.

8. Trying to find an Easter dress for my 8 year old daughter. I can't find any I like in the stores. Ok, there are a few I like but they are out of my price range. I think I may just try and make one. Here is a pattern for two that I sorta like. I found them over here.

9. Sent this cute niece and her sweet brother and parents (her mom is my twin) to Canada to live.

10. Homework, homework, homework! I thought when I graduated college it was over. Yea right, now my afternoons are spent helping kids with homework. It's ok, I'm not complaining, just an excuse as to why I've been a bad blogger.

Busy but fun! Your Moda project looks wonderful, i'll have to keep an eye out for it.

Cute little people you have there! Love the little one's hat. Shame about the homework, seems such a waste of time really. Much more fun making stuff.

Enjoy your busy week!

Hi! I love the patterns. Did you see that one of them is named Mary? I think it is a sign.... I also think that if you are going to sew a dress you might just need me to come over and hold that baby. I have been thinking I should probably make Mari an Easter dress. I have green polka-dot fabric. Now I just need to decide on a pattern.
Hey, I heard there is a Ben Franklin in your town. The one by me just closed. I was so sad. I might need to take a field trip down your way. You should join me, but we might have to include hob lob as well :).

You have FOUR children...you are busy, for sure! I try to remember what it was like when my four children were young. I can't. I just am glad I lived through it! I didn't know you are a twin. Identical?

What would we do with a life without kids, i think it would be rather boring. Can't wait to see your moda bake shop creation!!

Homework is a an 8 letter word at our house and it isn't a good one! :)

Good luck with your couch fiasco, I'm sure you have read my blog and know I am NOT AN ASHLEY FURNITURE FAN..... I'm just glad that my furniture decided to start going down hill only 5 days after we bought it. Made returning it really easy. May your next couch be wet proof! :)

What kind of idiot makes a couch that can't get water on it??

All those are very valid reasons for not blogging. We miss you, but your hands are full of other things...much more important than blogging.

We have almost the exact square footage and I feel like we are exploding out of our home! And we have half the bodies that you have! Guess I need to have a garage sale! AND our couch is from Ashley, the exact same material. Good to know of the water problems....oh well. Glad to hear your battle is ending.

Your little family is so adorable! You have amazing reasons to not blog! I still check on you though cause I love your blog!
