I copied Her again!

Well, I'm at it again. Copying more things from cute Tiffanys house. Good thing she doesn't have a blog or I might kinda freak her out. But hey, when you see a good idea, it would be just plain crazy not to copy it. When I saw this cute table topper, I knew I needed to give one a try. Don't you just love how she put the gingerbread house in the middle under that glass dome lid!

So here is my version of Tiffanys table topper. It probably looks Christmasy but it's for everyday. I'm lucky to have a good friend that's an incredible quilter too. If you click on the picture you can see her quilting a little better.

I used the Peace on Earth fabric by Moda. I know Christmas, but I liked the colors. And there are about 30 other fabrics in the Peace on Earth line I'd love to have too!

I had a lot of fabric left over so I made this table runner. I still have more fabric, so maybe I'll make some for my etsy shop.

I've been really bad at checking out all of your cute blogs this week. We have been painting and tileing and my house looks like a bomb when off. Hopefully next week things will slow down a little and I can get back to my normal blogging routine :) !

don't you just love when you find someone who has great ideas and lets you copy. Or, doesn't let you persay-but is so flattered when you do. At least I am when others copy me.
I noti-ced you didn't put in for the giveaway. House stuff, yea that will get you.
Don't worry. I loved doing it and had such a fun time-I will be doing another one.
It really helped get some great people to my blog. The more the merrier right? So-there will be more giveaways. Thanks for the kind words. You are the best!

The table runner turned out really cute for your dresser. Once all that tiling is finished, you're so gonna love it. Is it sealed yet?

I have to pay to have all my quilting done so I envy you to have a friend to do this! You did a really good job. I've been working on several table toppers and they really dress up a room and I love them. Table toppers are next! I'm sure Tiffany would be flattered if she only knew what you were up to!

How beautiful!

My mom loves Moda. She saves all of the twill ribbons that they come with.

Better late than never right. Hey the home from your last entry...wow, it was amazing. If you go again, you have to take me & your Dad (I think I could get him to go.) The thing that I loved the most is that it is so obvious the love and appreciation that went into it. They tried so hard to stay true to the original owners and the home itself, it was incredible. As you know, I have always said that I love old homes but would rather build one to look old, this home was the exception, I could live in this home!
Now for this entry, it is really neat on the computer, but doesn't even compare to in person! You do such nice work. Remember when you first started sewing and I used to tell you there wasn't a race to the finish. You've quit racing, and your details are perfect. I love them both.
