It started out great, the kids slept (for about 1 out of the 7 hours of the drive).
The next day they took us out to eat and the kids had a great time in their mini bowling alley.
And the little guy got some driving practice!
They let us play on their Wii fit. I know this is a bad picture, and that's exactly how I like it.
They took us swimming at their community pool.

My very white Utah legs, and I'm not telling ya which are mine.
Monday we went and visited Hoover Dam. My husband being a Civil Engineer REALLY wanted to go here.
The MASSIVE bridge that they are building.
The family!!!
We had such a wonderful time. Thank you Linda and Jason for spoiling us with your incredible cooking and fun activities.

How did I not know you hubby is a civil engineer - so is mine! Oh, the stories I'm sure we could share.
Looks like a gret trip!!! Welcome home! I love the pic of the kids sleeping in the car...all their heads tilting in the same direction :)
Looks like you guys had a fun time. We went to Hoover Dam last year and my husband loved it too. They were just beginning to build that bridge last April (2008). Nielsen's Custard in Las Vegas? Who knew. One of my favorite things in Utah. Mimi
Love me some Nielsons! I just got a carmel cashew the other night. Really should lay off the frozen desserts. :) Looks like you guys had a great time. Fun!
Ok maybe this is a weird comment, but I also love Neilson's Frozen Custard. Everytime we go to UT we bring a cooler and bring some back to Idaho on ice. We will be going to Vegas in Dec. for a tradeshow. I would be interestsed to know where you found Neilson's? Was it inside a casino? Near the strip ?? Anyway if you know an address or an aprx. location. I would love to know. Thanks
