{I'm a Copycat}

I LOVE candy corn! I know it's like purely sugar, but I really don't care. I don't like just any candy corn either. It's has to be Brachs. The other stuff if you ask me is junk. So, when I saw this little project over at Bien Venue I couldn't resist.

I know that I said Brachs is the best to eat. But for this garland the cheap Western Family candy corn worked much better.
I'm thinking my bows need to be a little bit longer.
It's probably way to early for a decoration like this, but for how much work it took it's staying up too early or not. Hopefully my toddler doesn't try and eat them!!!

  1. Cute idea! I am sure both of my kids would be standing on the table trying to eat them. Aaron LOVES candy corn! Mari will eat just about anything with sugar:)

  4. I really like that! Being a copy cat (in a good way) is a fun thing with blogging. You get to see all the great ideas and try your own at it.

    I have a small tree that I would like to decorate for the holidays and this would be way cute as a garland!

  7. ok-I so love it! I wisht that i could think of somewhere to put one in my house, where my kids wouldn't eat it! maybe I should just do it and put it where i want and let them eat one and then get sick and then they will never eat it again! i am thinking that I might just do that. does that make me eviL?

    Candy corn is Craig's favorite candy and insists on the Brachs, too.(a close second are candy hearts...also straight sugar, haha!)

  12. Cute candy corn, and those pumpkins are really cute, Wouldn't they be cute filled with some kind of mix to give as gifts in the all? I may give that a try. I have a housewarming gift and birthday present that I need to put together. Thanks for the wonderful ideas. Jackie

  13. I saw that on her blog and saved the idea, I'm just trying to get around to getting it done. Although I don't have a light fixture like that to hang it from so I would have to think of somewhere else to display the sweet goodness we call Fall decor! Yours turned out great! Thanks for sharing

  14. So cute! I'm hoping to do this too...except I plan to cheat and use the faux candy corn garland I bought at TJ Maxx! I think my little ones would climb on the table and eat the candy corn if it was real!

  15. So cute! I love candy corn too! Yum

    When I was a junior in high school I made a little candy corn necklace and wore it for school picture day. I'd tell you to go look in C's yearbook but the necklace is just way too small in the picture to see it..
