It seems like everywhere lately I'm seeing the cutest little pincushions. This month I have four friends having birthdays so I thought it would be the perfect time to give one a try! There are some way cute patterns out there that I'm too cheap to buy, although these ones are still really tempting me. Here is the pincushion I came up with. At a really cute store here in Utah they had all of their's filled with rice. Usually I've seen them with filled with batting, but I thought the rice was nice because It stayed in place better!
Are you getting sick of this fabric yet? I still have lots of fabric left over from this bag I made forever ago. I'll be putting some of these pincushions in my etsy shop later today (after I get the kids of to school)! Watch for them if your interested. They would make great mothers day gifts, hint, hint! I'll even wrap it up for you really cute!
These are so cute! They would make great additions to sewing kits for college students or new wives, too.
