The long overdue promised Home Tour

Before Christmas one of my favorite blogging friends Mimi Sue (and now I know her in real life too) set up a home tour of some of the old historic houses in our neighborhood. I was in heaven, I've wanted to sneak in to some of these house since we moved here four years ago. So today I'm going to show off one of my most favorite homes on this tour. The only bad thing, my cheap piece of hud camera would only take like 40 pictures, so I didn't get near as many pictures as I would have liked.
This is Tiffany's house. We refer to her as "cute Tiffany" hope she doesn't mind. But I've seen her house now, so were like good friends right? I'm pretty much in love with this house. I want this house, no wait I need this house.

This first few pictures are of her front room. Isn't it so cute and cozy! I love the framed S on the wall, I may need to try and copy that idea!

More cute S's! Her and her mom made these beautiful curtains and reupholstered all the furniture in this room.

Did I mention she has two year old twins and is expecting #3? How on earth does she have time to create all this cute stuff?

This is her adorable dining room! I am currently in the process of stealing an idea from this room and you can bet I'll be blogging about it. You can see her chandelier at night when you drive by, (I'm scaring myself, I sound like such a stalker) Anyhow, that's when I decided I needed one!

Did I mention that she is the one I bought my old window from? Isn't this one cute!

Her Bedroom! I love this quilt, I'm betting she made it!

This is her twins bathroom. I LOVE that shower curtain, yes it's a quilt. Arn't those letters above her kids towels cute!

This is her twins bedroom. She is so stinkin creative, she doesn't even blog, so she actually came up with all these cute things on her own.

Can you see why I love this house! One of these day's when I'm out walking I will have to take a picture of the front of it, it's just as cute!

  1. Um. My name is Tiffany and my last name starts with "S". I'm kind of feeling like this should be my house! :) Alas, mine is nothing near as cute as hers. Love that couch!

  3. That was my favorite house to see.

You know I think she must have sewed all her squares individually because I can't see a pattern indicating she sewed strips. Not to stres you out or anything. ;)

  20. Isn't she the cutest? Love her. She's the new enrichment leader and we're doing some cute things. A cupcake pincushion, valentine cards, and covered box with home made chocolates. All cute of course. We made those initials when I was enrichment leader I have the W pattern. Mimi

  26. Nicole,

This Miss S is way, way talented! A quilt for the curtain...I love it!

The reason she doesn't blog is probably so she can create...

When my daughter's fourth baby arrived is when my daughter went private and turned hers into a family journal. She also got rid of the 'Blog' pressure of visiting and having to post.

She doesn't go to D.I. as much as she reads the online KSL ads. They have found and sold some great pieces there.

You are a sweetheart...Thanks for sharing these photos' and I wonder if anybody can come to your enrichments???
    They sound fun and youthful:)

  28. First of all your friend's home is lovely. She definately is very creative!
Yes, we do eat at our table. The only thing is we use everyday glasses. My hubby doesn't want to break the goblets. They are rather delicate, but then again, they only were $1.00!
I am leaving the snowflake table setting until February...I am sure you know what I will be doing then!
    Have a great week!

  29. What a cute house! You totally sound like a stalker... JUST KIDDING! You are so cute Nicole. I remember when you used to get excited about stuff up at college! You were so cute to watch:-) I may have to try some of the things she did in her house!

  30. Well, you know I've been sorting and purging and I think I must've purged that pattern. I saw it last week but when I tried to find it it wasn't in the pattern drawer. Sorry. But this is how we made the patterns. Find a font you like that is wide. Make it as big as you can on your printer then take it down to kinkos and make it as big as you want. Then cut into pieces. Wonderunder, fabric, applique. I do have a w that is finished and framed if you want to use it as a guide. Let me know.

Thanks for stopping by my blog...hope you'll be back!
