Remember this sneak peek picture from last week?
I am finally done!!! I love how it turned out. I bought the fabric and pattern for this bag like 4 or 5 months ago and was to chicken to make it. Last week I guess I got adventurous and decided to give it a try. I usually try and stick to quilts and things that are not 3 dimensional, but I'm so glad I gave this one a try. I'm going to be using as a "church" bag, I filled it with all sorts of things to try and keep my children happy and me sane during church!
I love the sides of it. It has these cute little ties to make it a little skinnier or a little wider. And inside it has eight pockets, perfect for crayons, diaper wipes, cell phones, ipods whatever. I still need to find the perfect button for the little loop closure. I had so much fun sewing this bag I decided to make another.`
This one will be up on my etsy site, so if your interested go to my side bar and check it out.
Soooooooooo CCCUUTTTEEEEE!!!!!!!!

you did a great job. here's an idea for the perfect button: do a covered button. so easy and you won't have to worry about whether it "goes" with the fabric or not. way to step out of your comfort zone.
