A monumental occasion!!!

This is weird, it's like 10:30 in the morning and everyone (but me) is asleep. Maybee that's not that weird for some people but trust me, for my family it's really, really odd. On weekdays my husband wakes up at 5:30 for work, by the time he leaves at 6:30 the kids are almost always awake too. I know it's Sunday, but he is still always up by now, and the kids too.






I think I better go check them all for a pulse now!!!

    I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one with a baby in bed with me! And he's up at 5:45 without fail, even today.

    Everyone looks so comfy! Baby is too cute sleeping on the end of the bed.
    Isn't it funny that they can all sleep in and you are still the one up no matter what?

    Priceless!! My favorite is the picture of Dad and baby with his little hands up on his face. Precious! I cannot even imagine what it would be like to have such a late morning. Sounds delightful!

    Oh my goodness gracious! Your baby asleep in bed just is tugging at my heart! I so miss those baby days. My baby is 2.5 and wants nothing to do with sleeping with me any more.

    OMG...I am so jealous! I wish my little guy would sleep in on the weekend. Those pics are great....I love how your baby is sleeping with his hands up by his face...like he is thinking even in his sleep.

    I would have thought the same thing as you though...check for a pulse.

    Sleeping baby---is there anything cuter? I'm with everyone else though--if mine had slept past 8 I would have been running around checking everyone for a pulse :)!

    I would be checking pulses, too. Mine are usually up by 7:15. I would surely panic by 10:30! Adorable pics and couldn't help but say, "Awwww" when I saw the baby.

    Wow . . . you must LOVE to have the quiet time! It's just me and my puppy, but it is without fail that she is waking me up at 630 every am to go out. And, now that we're up, it's time to play, right? RIGHT?

    What a gift! With four little ones at home, I look forward to the teenage years when they supposedly will want to sleep in all morning. I think it will be great to have some quiet moments while I know they are tucked safely in their beds! Hope you have many more quiet, restful mornings!

    Oh, how I wish for just 1 morning of 1030 AM. After the panic attack finished that someone stole my family in the middle of the night, i would just be so thrilled to finally be rested!

    I know how you feel. My kids are very early risers. I think that I too would check for pulses if they slept past 8AM

    The most beautiful sight in the world to me is my children sleeping--but I've got to admit yours are adorable too, especially that baby. I would be right back in bed next to my husband if this happened in my house.

    how sweet is this! Love the picture of the baby, as soon as my 2 year old falls asleep (she is still in there talking to her stuffed animals) I'm gonna go give her a little squeeze and maybe take a picture or 2 :) Thanks for the idea!

    That is so precious! I'm actually most impressed that you were able to take pictures of them without waking them up. All I need to do for Little Miss is walk near her door and I swear she wakes up! Enjoy the silence!
